What about other Engineering masters' theses?
Most are at Memorial Library. Read over How to Find Dissertations.
Bachelors' Theses
Bachelors' theses were required by many COE departments from approximately 1895 to 1962.
- The theses are located at the UW Madison Shelving Facility. They can't be checked out, but you can order a copy.
- Use MadCat to search and request a copy. Search for the title: Bachelor's theses.
- In the MadCat record, click on the Internet Link, "list of theses arranged by author".
- Use the browser’s Find feature to search the list by author or keyword.
- Use the MadCat "Place Request" button to get a copy
of the thesis you need.
Masters Degree Project Reports
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering does not require masters' theses. ECE students have the option of submitting "Masters Degree Project Reports."
- ECE Masters Degree Project Reports are deposited at Wendt and are shelved in Special Collections, arranged by author’s surname.
- Use this MSEE List to locate a Masters thesis. (You can also get to this list in MadCat under the title: MSEE theses.
- Use the browser’s Find feature to search the list by author or keyword.
- A project report may be requested at the 2nd floor
