Return to Help with Research
For everyone
Interested in the research materials and services available to everyone at the university? See our guides to how to find... and reference services.
You can find out more about what materials we have at the library at about us, and more about our physical space on our facilities page.
Your Library Liaison
If you are a faculty member in the College of Engineering, Computer Sciences, Statistics, or Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences, we have a librarian personally assigned to your department. Our liaisons can help with everything from tough research questions to classroom instruction; see our library liaisons page to find your liaison and learn more.
Research Help
Our librarians are ready to help with your research problems, simple or complex. See our information on reference services for more details, or contact us and we'll help you out.
Library Instruction
Many faculty routinely include a library skills session in their courses. We can visit your classroom, create hands-on sessions in labs, create web sites to help students find relevant resources, and more. Find out more about planning a library session, or contact your liaison to get started, or contact Diana Wheeler, Library Instruction Coordinator, at dwheeler@engr.wisc.edu or 265-9801
